Land ecological protection polices improve ecosystem services: A case study of Lishui, China

Ecological priority and green development have become the main theme of times in China. The policy performance evaluation ecological protection needs to quantitatively identify changes ecosystem quality services firstly. This paper constructed analytical framework driven by “Goal-oriented—Policy driven—Ecological quality–Service improvement”, used multi-source data establish approach “ecosystem quality-ecosystem services-ecosystem value”. study took Lishui as a case confirm proposed. results show that has been steadily improved recent 10 years. overall such vegetation oxygen release, carbon sequestration, pollution removal, cooling service, humidification regulation water conservation service range 2%–6%. value products increased from 143.28 billion CNY 2009 150.23 2019. implemented concept “ecological civilization”, policies restoration or land remediation changed use quality, which was driving force for improvement promotion value. methods can provide insight into impact on decisions support further optimizing policies.
